BBO27-29 May the 'Nordic Battle', i.e. the Nordic Bridge Team Championships, take place in Örebro. The Championships will determine who's the best Nordic bridge country at the moment.

NBU TrophyFormatThe Championships will be played in two series – Women and Open teams. The two series are for national teams only (i.e. both players must come from the same NBO); transnational players are not permitted. A team can be formed of a maximum of six players, a captain and a coach.
In each of the two series, a double Round Robin will be played. The two series combined for each NBO, will determine the Nordic Champions by the lowest combined placing number. All matches being played as single sessions – without half-time – and over 16 boards. The Home Team submits its line-up after the Away Team.
Both series being played with pre-dealt boards. Screens are in use at all tables and BridgeMate being used for the official scoring. IAF-scores will be published after each session. One match from each series being broadcast on BBO in every round.
