Preparations for this year’s tournament are taking slightly longer than I had hoped, with the tourist boom in Madeira affecting our negotiations with certain hotels. In addition, one of our usual hotels, the Four Views Monumental, is undergoing refurbishment and will remain closed during the tournament; we will still, however, have VidaMar, Vila Baleira and Terrace Mar as part of our packages.

We hope to have all the rest of the information on our website by 15th April, including the full programme and other details you may need in order to make decisions about your visit.
Registration, for both bridge-only and packages including accommodation, will start on 1st June. This year we are simplifying the booking process by splitting it into two stages:
a) RESERVATION (the financial and information part), where you tell us which of the packages you require. We will send you an email with full details for confirmation, the total due, and the payment deadline. This email will contain your ID CODE, which you will need for all events during the tournament.
b) REGISTRATION (the bridge part) can be completed only once you have the ID CODE, which will allow you to register for the Open Pairs (5th to 7th November) and the Open Teams (8th to 10th November). At this stage you will be asked for the information required by the Directors.
